Message	If you go to a reputable shop, my research showed that the base rebuilt long block will cost you anywhere from about $4,000 to $6,000. Most Z shops seem to offer forged pistons, and stuff like that as a standard option. If you do it yourself, it will be FAR less, but you wont have anyones ass if something goes wrong.
